The Chappaqua Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of Chappaqua, New York via the Harlem Line. Trains leave for New York City every hour, and about every 20 minutes during rush hour. It is 32.4 miles (52 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is approximately 52 minutes.

Chappaqua is one of the busiest stations on the Upper Harlem Line (north of North White Plains), as it sees four trains originate in the morning peak hours. Many of those trains run local to White Plains before running express to Harlem – 125th Street.

Similarly, in the evening peak hours, five trains terminate at Chappaqua, all of them being expresses from Harlem – 125th Street that run express to White Plains, and then make all local stops to Chappaqua. Also, two trains in the evening peak hours are super-express, running express all the way from Grand Central Terminal to Chappaqua, bypassing Harlem – 125th Street and also White Plains. There are also three trains in the PM peak that stop at White Plains to receive customers only and then run express to Chappaqua.

Chappaqua Station was originally opened by the New York Central Railroad on June 16, 1902.[1] It is part of the Chappaqua Railroad Depot and Depot Plaza, which has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.[2] This station is the first/last station in the Zone 5 Metro-North fare zone.
